Hosteria Ducale good Venetian cuisine and more
Typical Venetian dishes
in a mountain resort
At Hosteria Ducale we offer the familiar atmosphere that has always characterised a typical Venetian restaurant, with seafood dishes typical of the Venice Lagoon. A few steps from Monte Dolada, near Belluno, we offer a menu that perfectly balances fish and meat, with the freshest local ingredients and traditional Venetian recipes, creatively revisited by Chef Mattia and the chefs.
The charming dining room and terrace, combined with the goodness of the cuisine, make our restaurant perfect for a dinner or celebration. We are constantly searching for the best ingredients and new labels for the wine list, always giving you a unique experience, discovering the ancient flavours of our region.
To enjoy our dishes also at home, we offer a takeaway service,
from Wednesday to Sunday, from 18:00 to 21:00.
Undoubtedly the secret of the success of our typical Venetian restaurant is the careful choice of quality ingredients, combined with the knowledge of ancient recipes.
The fish, always fresh, prepared with simplicity and with the aim of enhancing its genuine and natural taste, is the reason why our customers return to visit us, enjoying the terrace in summer and the warmth of the indoor dining room in winter.
On the menu, you will find the famous crispy and tasty frittura, tuna tagliata, seafood tagliatelle and other traditional fish dishes. Meat lovers choose filet or tagliata, made with high quality meat.
For those who want a change of flavour, we have an extensive menu of traditional or fish-based pizzas made from high-quality flour.
The fine wine cellar is worthy of a typical Venetian restaurant! Following the tradition of our region, we attach great importance to wines, liqueurs and grappa, which accompany and conclude every meal. A wide selection of labels, both well-known and lesser-known, is at your disposal to be discovered sip by sip.
The jewel in the crown of our restaurant is undoubtedly the Amaro Ducale.
Made with typical products from the gardens of Venice, such as thistles, artichokes and other plants and roots, the amaro is dedicated to this unique city married to the sea.
Its recipe was born in Hosteria Ducale from an idea of Mattia Bubacco, and can be enjoyed not only in our restaurant but also in bars, wine bars and other venues.
